Maja Tampe

Maja Tampe, as a consultant, facilitator, and coach at Dialogos, has been working predominantly on large scale systems change with her clients, including BP, the US Forest Service, and the World Bank.  Her interest lies particularly in achieving coherence between structural transformation and the human side of change.  Maja combines rigorous analytic capabilities and systems thinking as well as strong interpersonal skills.  She is passionate about helping people bring out and work through difficult issues.

Before joining Dialogos, Maja worked as a strategy consultant at McKinsey & Company in Germany, working particularly in the telecommunication and retail industry. 

She has also had a wide range of international development experience in Chile, Jordan, and Bosnia-Herzegovina, where she consulted and researched on impact monitoring, regional economic development and the use of innovative finance instruments.

Maja earned a Master in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and graduated with a master’s degree in political science, economics and public law from the University of Münster, Germany.  At Harvard, Maja co-taught students for Professor Ronald Heifetz’s experiental class on leadership, and facilitated challenging cross-cultural dialogues.  She also educated leaders of a Fortune 500 pharmaceutical company.

Maja resides in Boston/Cambridge where she enjoys rowing on the Charles River.  She is also an avid traveler and outdoors aficionado.  Maja is fluent in English, German, and Spanish.
