Ayalew Zegeye Asfaw

Ayalew is a Dialogos associate. He is based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and is the coordinator for initiatives and activities of Dialogos in Africa. He is founder, general manager and principal consultant of AMDAMU Management Consultancy, founded in 1998. Ayalew focuses on strategy and leadership development as well as facilitation of different processes. His purpose is to serve humanity and has a passion to contribute to the creation of a better world for all citizens of our planet. He believes that a better society is possible through better organizations and individuals. He uses his consulting, facilitation, and training platforms to further this purpose and belief. His clients include different institutions of the Ethiopian Government; the UN agencies such as UNECA, UNDP, WHO, UNFPA, UNAIDS, etc; the Ethiopian Finance Industry; Ethiopian Airlines; other international agencies such as Institute of International Education (IIE), Academy for Educational Development (AED), German Technical Cooperation (GTZ), etc. His practice has taken him across Africa, Asia, the USA and Europe.

Prior to setting up his own consulting practice, Ayalew was lecturer at the Faculty of Business and Economics of Addis Ababa University. He still teaches at City University College and is member of the Board of Advisors of Hope University College. He also sits in several other boards such as the Addis Ababa Chamber of Commerce and Sectoral Associations.
